Available Shifts and Differentials
  • 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:00pm
  • 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm-2:00am with 10% differential
  • Weekend Day Shift, Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm with 15% differential

Machinist
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining.
  • Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.
  • Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
  • Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
  • Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth micrometers. Familiarity with CMM, GD&T, and SPC.
  • Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
  • Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
  • Completes the necessary paperwork and computer entry steps.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Can perform basic set‑ups on multiple machines.
  • Ability to train CNC Operators and Machinists I on routine tasks.
  • Developing proficiency with complex setups.
  • Ability to perform intermediate troubleshooting procedures.
  • Proficient with part inspection techniques (comparator, profilometer, etc.).
  • 2‑year machining degree preferred.
  • Must have 3+ years of experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

For candidates based in Minnesota: $19.09 - 32.45 per hour. The pay scale is subject to change depending on position level or business needs.

Machine Operator
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
  • Understands blueprints, drawings, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations.
  • Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes and similar CNC machine tools.
  • References the tooling list and installs correct tooling. Able to enter and verify tool offsets.
  • Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth micrometers. Familiarity with elementary CMM, GD&T, and SPC.
  • Communicates process issues to supervisor for investigation.
  • Completes the necessary paperwork and computer entry steps.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must have 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with work involving fabrication, machining, or similar processes are preferred.
  • Ability to operate vertical/horizontal mill, lathe or Swiss machinery preferred.
  • Ability to perform non‑complex adjustments and changes to machinery.
  • Troubleshooting abilities.
  • 2‑year machining degree preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-4+ years manufacturing or related work experience.
  • A.A. degree or equivalent experience, or any combination of education and experience.
  • Vocational or technical training or equivalent experience.

For candidates based in Minnesota: $17.12 - 29.09 per hour plus. The pay scale is subject to change depending on position level or business needs.
