Dauch Corporation, based near Detroit with global operations, is seeking a CNC Setup Technician for the Fort Wayne area. The role involves lathe set ups, tool-path updates, and changeovers on a 3rd shift, ensuring high precision and on-time production.

You will interpret G/M codes, troubleshoot issues, and participate in continuous improvement while maintaining safety standards and clean working environments.

Qualificações

• 1 to 3 years of experience in high volume precision machining environment.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes and detailed knowledge of CNC lathe tooling/programming.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Knowledge of Hard Turning, Green Turning, Milling, Broaching and Part Finishing machining processes.
• Knowledge to teach robot and gantry pickup points.
• Knowledge of Nachi robot controls.

Responsabilidades

• Recognize tool paths by interpreting the program (G and M codes).
• Machine set-ups and changeovers.
• Ability to train associates on machining standards.
• Troubleshoot daily production problems through root cause analysis techniques as they occur.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes.
• Maintains safety and good housekeeping standards.
