Job summary

Durex Industries is seeking a Precision CNC Lathe Programmer-Operator for the 2nd shift to support high‑volume production on state‑of‑the‑art equipment.

You will own setups, load programs, verify offsets, and run first articles, while performing in‑process inspections and maintaining meticulous logs. The role also includes training, workflow coordination, and opportunities to lead as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Comfort with calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finders, and blueprint reading.
• Experience with CNC controls and cutting tools; capable of deburring and handling parts to customer requirements.
• Independent, organized, detail‑driven, and committed to safety and quality.
• Professional communication across departments; accountable for decisions and outcomes.
• GD&T proficiency and print interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and program CNC lathe/mill; load tools and verify offsets.
• Perform in‑process inspections and final verifications with precision metrology.
• Maintain complete documentation: sign‑offs, forms, logs, and digital records.
• Troubleshoot and optimize programs for cycle time and surface finish.
• Provide operator training and support production scheduling; lead as experience grows.
