Zusammenfassung

The Entwistle Company is seeking skilled CNC lathe operators to support mission-critical defense components. You will set up and run large CNC lathes, select tooling, adjust work offsets, and edit G/M codes to produce tolerance-critical parts.

Expect tight quality control with micrometers and dial indicators, in a fast-paced shop environment. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of CNC/lathe experience, programming familiarity, and a proven track record of quality.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years machining experience or equivalent technical training.
• 3–5 years of CNC and manual lathe setups.
• Programming familiarity preferred (editing/creating lathe programs).
• Proven quality performance in a fast-paced, production-driven shop.
• Military backgrounds translate well: Army 91E; Navy MM; Air Force 2A7X1; Marine Corps 1316.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate engine and large CNC lathes to machine castings, forgings, plates, bars, and custom parts.
• Achieve tight tolerances and finishes on large, complex workpieces.
• Program and edit at the machine to improve accuracy, repeatability, and throughput.
• Inspect components with micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to verify conformance.
