Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. is hiring a CNC Laser Set and Run Operator to set up and run CNC laser and related machines for precision sheet metal fabrication.

You will read blueprints, perform tool changes and adjustments, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a safe, efficient production area while supporting various Trumpf and Mitsubishi systems. Experience with CNC programming basics and G-code is preferred, along with handling laser lenses and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC laser machines and/or punching equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes and adjustments to maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser, tube laser, punch, and CNC combination machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to produce parts.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, adjustments and inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy.
