Job summary

Staffmark is now hiring a CNC Laser Operator for our Jonesboro, AR facility on 1st or 2nd shift. This direct-hire role demands precision, mechanical aptitude, and a hands-on approach to operating laser cutting equipment.

You will set up, program, monitor, and adjust CNC machinery, verify setups with precision measuring tools, and ensure parts meet engineering specifications while following safety and ISO/OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints with fractions and decimals.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CNC laser cutting machine and other production equipment.
• Set up lenses, load programs, and set machine parameters.
• Use shield gases during laser cutting operations.
• Assemble parts as directed by shift leader or floor supervisor.
• Assist with bending, punching, or sawing metal products as assigned.
• Inspect work closely and adjust to changing production priorities.
• Prepare finished products for shipment.
• Move materials manually or with a forklift.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Work with teammates to meet production and quality goals.
• Follow company policies, safety rules, and ISO/OSHA requirements.
