Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a CNC Laser/Brake Operator in Latham, MO to program, operate, and maintain CNC laser cutting and brake press machines. The role emphasizes reading blueprints, loading materials, and ensuring parts meet specifications through quality checks.

You will work with a team to set up machines, troubleshoot, and adjust settings while following safety guidelines and maintaining accurate inventory. Prior experience with CNC equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints and work instructions to ensure correct setups.
• Experience operating CNC laser and brake press machines or similar equipment.
• Strong planning, organization, and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting and brake press machines according to work orders.
• Program CNC machines to match blueprints and specifications ensuring tolerances are met.
• Load materials into machines and verify availability and quality of inputs.
• Use forklift or material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished parts.
• Conduct routine quality checks on finished parts and products.
• Adjust machine settings to meet job specs; troubleshoot issues and optimize production.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials, tools, and supplies and coordinate replenishment.
• Communicate progress and issues with management to resolve production challenges.
