Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Machine Repair Mechanic to keep complex factory equipment operating at peak performance. You will troubleshoot, overhaul, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and electronically-controlled tools and supporting systems.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical and fluid power equipment including machine tools, elevators, and compressors, set up precision measuring instruments, and mentor junior mechanics while maintaining a clean, safe work

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent.
2–3 years' experience on CNC machines.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, overhaull, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and electronically‑controlled machine tools and supporting systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum‑type equipment, including machine tools, elevators, and compressors.
Set up and operate precision measuring instruments, including optical tooling, to verify repairs and modifications.
Instruct and mentor one or two mechanics on assigned jobs, providing clear guidance and training as needed.
Maintain a clean, orderly work area and promptly report any unusual conditions to the lead or supervisor.
