You will read technical drawings, set up tools, measure bore sizes and finishes, and work with supervision to resolve production issues while maintaining safe shop practices. This role requires teamwork in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality.

Qualifications

• Must understand complex technical drawings and translate them into CNC programs.
• Experience with hand tools, drill press, grinders and machining equipment.
• Team player with strong communication in a machine shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate SV-30 hone and install hone deck plates.
• Create or modify CNC programs for production runs.
• Measure bore sizes and surface finishes using precision instruments.
• Mount, align, and secure tools, fixtures, and workpieces on machines.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling; troubleshoot machine issues.
• Record measurements and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safe working conditions.
• Coordinate with supervisors or programmers to resolve production issues.
• Input initial part dimensions into machine control panels.
