Magna Exteriors seeks a Metrology/ CMM technician to inspect production parts and ensure dimensional accuracy using CMM equipment. You will work with blueprints and GD&T callouts, perform R&R studies, and generate reports for PPAP submissions.

Qualifications

• Read, understand and interpret automotive blueprints/CAD drawings, GD&T callouts and engineering specifications.
• Perform R&R studies and GR&R analyses as part of PPAP/Control Plan procedures.
• Troubleshoot CMM hardware/software issues to maintain measurement capability.

Responsibilities

• Attend safety and job-related training as required.
• Prepare and run CMM programs to inspect production parts.
• Create measurement reports and data charts for part trials and PPAP submissions.
• Maintain organized inventory and data files for metrology gages and fixtures.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to resolve nonconforming data.
