Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems seeks a CMM Operator II to operate and program the Coordinate Measuring Machine for inspection of production parts. Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
• Vocational/Technical Training Degree preferred
• Knowledge of CMM operation and precision measurement principles beneficial

Responsibilities

• Operates CMM equipment to perform measurement, inspection, and testing of production materials and components using previously prepared inspection programs.
• Mounts or installs tools, attachments, fixtures, or work pieces on CMM.
• Performs in-process or final inspections.
• Documents and reports non-conforming materials as required.
• Reads blueprints and specifications.
