Job summary

PGM is seeking a skilled Inspector to operate and program CMM machines, ensuring precise measurements and high-quality results. You will work with machinists and engineers to refine inspection methods and tooling, and maintain SPC data for process control.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong metrology knowledge, and the ability to interpret technical documentation. Training on inspection equipment is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with CMMs and metrology procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures, blueprints, and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Set up and program CMM machines to ensure consistent, quality measurements.
• Operate CMM and run new and existing jobs per established processes.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers on tooling and inspection methods.
• Record SPC data and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Provide training on CMM operation and preventive maintenance where needed.
• Complete inspection duties to maintain acceptable quality levels.
