Job summary

ThermAvant Technologies, LLC is looking for a full-time CMM Programmer and Operator to support design, build, testing, and troubleshooting of custom thermal products. You will work closely with Production and Engineering in Columbia, MO.

Responsibilities include programming in Calypso, generating real-time PiWeb reports, and ensuring calibration and upkeep of inspection equipment. Training is available for strong candidates with relevant technical background.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of CMM hardware.
• Experience programming with Calypso.
• Certificate or degree from technical school in a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Email; strong written and verbal communication.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift and handle materials over 50 lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Program in Calypso, including free-form and curve.
• Create new programs using Calypso and operate the CMM with established programs.
• Use GD&T to define and communicate design intent and control shape, size, and position.
• Create real-time reports using PiWeb.
• Program VMM in Zone 3.
• Prepare Operator Level set-up and run instructions.
• Assist with calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
• Work independently.
