Job summary

Arrowhead Products is seeking an experienced precision inspector to program and operate Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines, Calypso software, and therm for aerospace tooling and production parts. You will read blueprints, perform high-precision measurements, and document results while coordinating with the Manufacturing Engineering team.

Requires strong trigonometry, shop geometry, and proficiency with QC software such as QC5000 and Verisurf.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years related technical college/trade school
• Requires 7+ years related aerospace industry experience in precision inspection
• Proficient with Zeiss coordinate measuring machines w/ Calypso software
• Able to read/interpret blueprints/engineering drawings

Responsibilities

• Program, set-up and run Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machine with Calypso software
• Program, set-up and operate Metronics QC5000 CMM program
• Program, set-up and operate Romer Arm Verisurf with current software
• Interpret complex tool drawings and use standard measuring instruments
• Record inspection results and maintain inspection data
• Coordinate design efforts with Manufacturing Engineering Department
