Job summary

ThermAvant Technologies, LLC is seeking a full‑time CMM Programmer and Operator to support design, build, test and troubleshooting of custom thermal products. The candidate will work closely with Production and Engineering on inspection and documentation using CMM and GD&T.

Responsibilities include programming in Calypso, operating the CMM, generating real-time PiWeb reports, and maintaining calibration of equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to read drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of CMM hardware.
• Experience programming using Calypso.
• Certificate/diploma from technical school in a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Program in Calypso (free-form and curves).
• Create programs and operate CMM using established programs.
• Use GD&T to define design intent and control dimensions.
• Create real-time reports using PiWeb.
• Program VMM in zone 3.
• Create Operator Level setup/run instructions.
• Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
• Work independently.
