Job summary

Kloeckner in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented CMM Programmer to join our Quality Assurance team. You will create and edit CMM inspection programs to verify parts meet engineering specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include developing and validating programs using Polyworks or PC‑DMIS, interpreting GD&T and 3D CAD models, and providing software training for Quality Managers and Engineers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate.
• 3+ years of experience in CMM programming and operation.
• Proficiency in CMM software (e.g., Polyworks, PC-DMIS, or others).
• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Experience with ISO/IATF quality systems and documentation.
• Familiarity with a variety of materials and manufacturing processes (e.g., punching, laser, forming, machining, stamping).

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate CMM inspection programs using software such as Polyworks, PC-DMIS, or similar.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models
• Provide software training and support as necessary for Quality Managers and Engineers
• Support implementation of scanning technology throughout the organization
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve quality issues
• Ensure inspection processes are aligned with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 or relevant quality standards
