Job summary

Hendrickson is seeking a skilled CMM Operator to join our Schaumburg, IL manufacturing team. You will operate and program CMM equipment to inspect precision metal components, ensuring they meet strict quality standards and customer specifications.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of CMM experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and proficiency in PC-DMIS or Calypso. This role requires collaboration with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and maintain measurement records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating CMM equipment.
• Proficiency in PC-DMIS or Calypso.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and mechanical inspection techniques.
• Experience with metal components and precision machining.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMM equipment to inspect and measure metal components.
• Program CMM machines using PC-DMIS or Calypso.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerances.
• Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections.
• Document inspection results and maintain records of measurements and deviations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain and calibrate measuring equipment and ensure proper functioning of CMM machines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality and manufacturing processes.
