Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Park City, KS is seeking a motivated CMM Machine Operator to join our quality team. You will set up and operate CMMs to inspect components, read GD&T spec and drawings, and ensure measurements meet tolerances.

Responsibilities include calibration, maintaining records, collaborating with engineering and production, and training new operators. A high school diploma is required; a technical machining or QC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.
• Experience as a Level II QA Inspector.
• Proven experience operating CMM machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and reading/interpreting drawings.
• Attention to detail and problem solving; able to work independently or in a team.
• Familiarity with quality control software and data analysis tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines to perform inspections on components.
• Draw sketches using CAD programs or CATIA and interpret engineering drawings.
• Interpret specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment; document results and records.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Assist in training new operators on CMM operation and best practices.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work area.
