Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is hiring for an entry-level Clean Core Components associate in Tooele, UT. The role focuses on cleaning parts, preparing them for inspection, and following established work instructions.

You will rotate through cleaning areas, maintain safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to ISO9001 and team safety practices.

Qualifications

• Team collaboration and ability to work independently.
• Ability to read a limited number of words and recognize word patterns.
• Print and speak simple sentences.
• Read and comprehend detailed instructions and diagrams, short memos and simple correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Solid basic math and number sense.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in job rotations within the cleaning area, including glass-beading operations.
• Work safely around chemical cleaning processes.
• Maintain product quality and ensure cleaning media are removed.
• Understand and comply with ISO9001 requirements.
• Complete required daily paperwork and maintain production boards updates.
• Conduct 5S audits and complete daily checklists.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements.
• Report any sickness, injury, or safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and housekeeping.
• Be flexible to move to different work areas based on production needs.
• May work overtime, including weekends, as schedule requires.
• Participate in team huddles and group projects for team alignment.
• Follow safety protocols, PPE requirements and company procedures.
