Element Materials Technology is seeking a Chemical Process Laboratory Technician in Los Angeles to perform specialized cleaning and handling of components used in high-reliability industries. You will ensure parts are free from contaminants and compliant with customer and regulatory requirements.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, ability to work with laboratory equipment, and documentation of all process parameters and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision cleaning of parts using approved methods (aqueous, solvent, ultrasonic).
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (ultrasonic tanks, DI water systems, drying systems).
• Follow work instructions, process specifications, and customer requirements.
• Conduct inspections to verify cleanliness (visual, particulate analysis, NVR testing).
• Handle sensitive components in controlled environments, including cleanrooms when required.
• Document process parameters, inspection results, and deviations.
• Package cleaned parts per cleanliness and contamination standards.
• Apply 5S standards to laboratory work areas.
• Support process improvement initiatives to boost quality and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.
