Job summary

MSI-Viking seeks an experienced Electronic Calibration Technician to calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and certify electronic and electro-mechanical test equipment. You’ll work in an ISO/IEC 17025 environment with high-precision instruments, maintaining documentation and certificates.

The role requires 3–5 years in electronic metrology or a PMEL program, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to travel to customer sites. Competitive benefits and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electronic metrology, calibration, PMEL, or related experience; PMEL training acceptable.
• Experience with multifunction calibrators such as Fluke 5500A and 5700A series equipment.
• Experience with high-precision instrumentation such as Keysight 3458A and Fluke 8588A multimeters.
• Strong electronic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems is a plus.
• METCAL experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, adjustment, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and electro-mechanical measuring and test equipment.
• Complete calibrations per procedures, manufacturer specs, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Operate high-precision instrumentation and multifunction calibrators.
• Create calibration certificates and maintain service records and documentation.
• Travel to customer sites for on-site calibration services.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Meet turnaround times and service expectations with customers and internal teams.
