Job summary

CBRE seeks a Calibration Technician to calibrate and adjust equipment per customer requirements. You will support testing across temperature, humidity, pressure, torque, and electrical disciplines while maintaining meticulous documentation and databases.

The role requires hands-on calibration expertise, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to work both independently and with senior staff on-site, often in a client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• 3–5 years of calibration and laboratory instrumentation experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Outlook and other computer-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations and adjustments for calibration devices across multiple disciplines.
• Maintain documentation including metrology database, calibration certificates, equipment history forms, and timesheets.
• Conduct self-studies to improve calibration theory, methods, and equipment.
• Communicate progress of testing, repair, and services to customers.
• Calibrate equipment on-site with senior staff as needed.
