Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent college or technical school; 2 years relevant experience and training.
• 1+ year of experience in a similar/related field.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
• Moderate levels of product knowledge, preferably hands-on.
• Must possess a basic understanding of machines/milling/metrology.
• Understand electrical, hydraulic schematics, and ladder logic.
• Ability to use basic electrical testing/diagnostic equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Travel as needed for the role (estimated 10%).

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and calibration of automated precision inspection equipment and related metrology equipment at the customer’s site.
• Troubleshoot and correct issues in hardware and software function of the system.
• Develop calibration procedures, inspection routines, and test installations to ensure systems are in proper working order.
• Communicate changes in instructions or schematics to team members.
• Recommend updates to procedures for accuracy and relevance.
• Ensure customer needs and expectations are met in a timely cost-effective manner.
• Complete applicable documentation related to calibrations.
