Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC is seeking a Calibration Technician to perform precision calibrations and measurements in our Ft. Wayne lab.

You will work with bore gages, gage blocks, calipers, micrometers, and other standards while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to procedures. The role requires reading engineering drawings, maintaining safety standards, and supporting onsite calibration work up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% in the tri-state area.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and verification of measurement equipment, including bore gages, thread gages, and measuring tapes.
• Operate precision measurement systems, including surface plates and optical comparators.
• Record and document measurement results accurately in calibration software (IndySoft).
• Identify and report out-of-tolerance conditions and ensure proper handling of standards and customer equipment.
