Fox Valley Metrology is seeking mechanically inclined Calibration Technicians to join our nationwide calibration team. You will calibrate, inspect, and service a range of mechanical and electronic instruments, reading drawings and following ISO/IEC 17025 procedures.

We provide specialized training and place technicians in the discipline that best matches their strengths. Opportunities include mechanical, electronics, hand tool, or dimensional calibration with potential for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings or blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, inspect, troubleshoot, and verify precision measuring and testing equipment.
• Perform calibration on mechanical, electronic, dimensional, and hand measurement instruments.
• Test, diagnose, and repair equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
• Follow established calibration procedures and ISO/IEC 17025 quality standards.
• Document calibration results and maintain accurate service records.
