Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Gage Calibration Technician I to support calibration and testing of precision instruments in a manufacturing setting. You will learn and apply basic measuring tools and ensure conformance to standards.

The role requires the ability to read drawings, utilize GD&T concepts, and operate calibration software such as Gage Trak. On-site work in NH with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with minimum inspection experience at least Level 1.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and tolerances.
• Basic understanding of GD&T and geometric tolerancing.
• Experience using calibration software like Gage Trak.

Responsibilities

• Set up lab equipment to test and calibrate instruments.
• Disassemble, inspect components, and measure parts for conformance.
• Reassemble and calibrate gauges and instruments.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure accuracy.
• Assist engineers in testing, calibration, and evaluation plans.
• Communicate issues to supervision and suggest improvements.
• Participate in 5S workplace activities and maintain orderly area.
• May work overtime or in other facilities as needed.
