Job summary

Kurt Machining, a division of Kurt Manufacturing, seeks a Calibration Technician in Minneapolis, MN. You will test and calibrate controlling and measuring devices to ensure spec compliance, using hand tools and precision instruments.

1 year of related experience preferred; a HS diploma or GED is required. The role is 1st shift, with pay ranging from $26.29 to $35.00 per hour, depending on knowledge, experience, and education.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1 year of related calibration experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering is a plus; ASQ Certification highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Read quality control manuals and specs to gather data for calibration.
• Observe meters, gauges and displays to identify defects and calibration needs.
• Adjust calibration mechanisms using hand tools and precision instruments.
