Job summary

LifeNet Health in Virginia Beach is seeking a Calibration and Inspection Technician to maintain quality by verifying that incoming custom manufactured equipment meets specifications and by documenting nonconformities. You will calibrate gauges, perform precision inspections, and support CAPA initiatives.

You'll work with Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing staff, manage documentation and records, and help ensure timely backlog reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in engineering, skilled trades, machining, dimensional inspection, or related field.
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs precision dimensional and visual inspection of tooling and equipment upon receipt from vendors, ensuring conformance to LifeNet Health specs.
• Calibrates production acceptance gauges per calibration procedures.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections of production tooling and equipment.
• Uses CATSWEB to enter nonconformance issues and CAPA-related items, assisting engineering, quality, and purchasing with resolution.
• Completes and maintains documentation and quality records per procedures.
