Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO and FDA regulations as they relate to calibration and audits.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to use and maintain precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Purchase and issue new gauges with gauge ID numbers.
• Maintain calibration certificates in the ERP (SAP).
• Schedule calibration services with approved external suppliers and create purchase orders.
• Transport gauges to the appropriate calibration source.
• Peer review and sign in-house calibration certificates.
• Provide calibration documentation during audits.
• Write and disposition gauge NCRs for out of tolerance gauges.
• Train QA Techs in Calibration Coordinator duties.
• Maintain work area cleanliness and organization.
• Update quality system documentation related to calibration services.
