Job summary

ITT Cannon, LLC in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking an Assembly Operator to work under minimum supervision using hand and machine tools, read drawings and work instructions, and strip cables into final products. You will perform visual inspection and data recording to ensure quality before shipment.

Duties include measuring with rulers and calipers, interpreting engineering blueprints, maintaining SAP data logs, and switching between workstations in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and measuring devices to measure, cut, and mold materials as required.
• Interpret and perform according to engineering blue prints, drawings, work instructions, workmanship standards, manufacturing instructions and inspection and test procedures.
• Perform basic math calculations, including fractions and decimal measurements.
• Perform visual inspection of work for defects and adherence to workmanship standards and BIW specifications.
• Maintain production database (SAP) and data logs.
• Work in a warehouse environment and stand for prolonged periods (2 hr increments).
• Capable of switching between work stations as needed.
• Use heat presses to mold rubber for required product.
