Job summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician in Milpitas, CA. This role is ideal for an experienced hands‑on builder who can take engineering drawings, BOMs, and a complete kit of materials, then independently produce a finished cable, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly that meets specification.

This is not a repetitive assembly‑line position. The right candidate will enjoy owning complete builds from start to finish in a quality‑focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building complete cable, wire harness, mechanical, or electromechanical assemblies from drawings, BOMs, work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Build complete cable, wire harness, mechanical, or electromechanical assemblies from engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and kitted materials.
• Interpret assembly documentation and follow required processes to produce high-quality finished assemblies.
• Perform hands-on assembly tasks involving hardware, connectors, wiring, routing, labeling, subassemblies, and related components.
• Inspect work for accuracy, fit, function, workmanship, and compliance with specifications.
• Identify drawing, material, fit, or assembly issues and communicate concerns before proceeding.
• Work independently in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment with changing assembly requirements.
