Job summary

Russell's Technical Products Inc. is seeking qualified individuals to support the Custom Cabinet Department. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, identifying materials, drilling, deburring, assembling cabinet panels, and installing hardware and insulation.

You will ensure accurate assembly, maintain a clean work area, and follow safety procedures. Prior experience with sheet metal or construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience manufacturing, fabrication, sheet metal, or construction preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools preferred.
• Experience reading basic drawings or blueprints is helpful.
• Willingness to learn new processes, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, prints, and work orders.
• Identify required materials and components.
• Drill and punch holes.
• Deburr and smooth sharp edges.
• Grind and clean metal as needed.
• Assemble basic cabinet panels and sections.
• Install brackets, supports, stiffeners, and reinforcements.
• Install hinges, latches, handles, and other hardware.
• Install insulation or insulation supports as required.
• Seal seams and joints.
• Apply caulking or other sealants.
• Label and organize components for assembly.
• Prepare completed cabinet sections for the next department.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and shop equipment safely.
• Report material shortages, damaged parts, or drawing issues to the appropriate person
• Follow work instructions and quality requirements
