McConway & Torley, a long-standing Pittsburgh metalcraft company, is seeking a Thermal Finisher to join our production operations team.

You’ll weld, burn, and precisely finish steel castings, identify defects, and follow strict safety practices in a factory setting. The role requires at least one year of experience and a high school diploma, with opportunities for varied shifts and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in welding/burner operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and repair casting defects (yokes, knuckles, or couplers).
• Perform carbon arc welding.
• Operate torch to remove excess material from casting families.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• May participate in safety committees or initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
