Job summary

Impact Staffing is seeking a Metal Fabricator / Brake Press Operator in Lawrenceville for a direct hire. The ideal candidate will have hands-on press brake experience and precision fabrication skills to form sheet metal components to exact specifications.

The position offers a first shift, 10-hour days, and compensation of $20–$25 per hour. Candidates should have at least 2 years of brake press or metal fabrication experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Hands-on brake press / metal fabrication experience.
• Solid understanding of fractions, decimals, angles, and metric measurements.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install tooling, dies, and punches; adjust gauges and settings on CNC or manual press brakes.
• Bend, notch, and form sheet metal components to specifications.
• Read technical drawings, schematics, bend allowances, and tolerances.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections with calipers and micrometers.
• Load, align, and unload raw sheet metal and finished parts safely.
• Follow OSHA and safety guidelines and perform routine equipment maintenance.
