Stand-By Personnel, Inc. is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator in Tulsa, OK to operate press brake machinery, read blueprints, and form metal components to exact specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety are essential for success in this role.

You will work Monday–Friday on a first shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with temp-to-hire opportunities and competitive pay based on experience. Experience with CNC or hydraulic brakes is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience operating press brake or similar metal-forming equipment.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal components per specifications.
Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine production needs.
Set up tooling, angles, measurements, and operating parameters.
Monitor machine operation for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
Adjust machine settings to maintain tolerances and quality.
Inspect finished parts with precision tools to verify specs.
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
