Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and ability to read blueprints.
• Experience operating brake presses or in metal fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read shop drawings and follow written instructions.
• Proficient using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake press machines according to job specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
• Ensure proper alignment and positioning of metal parts before bending or forming.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain precision and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
• Communicate any equipment malfunctions or production issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with material handling and other fabrication tasks as needed.
