Job summary

BorgWarner in Bellwood, IL is hiring a Bonding Operator to operate automatic bonding equipment and monitor performance to meet quality standards. You will set up, adjust, and run machines, load parts, check first runs, and respond to alarms while following control plans and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities include performing setup validation, logging data in WINSPC, preparing production and scrap reports, moving materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Some lifting is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Experience operating bonding equipment and following setup procedures.
• Light physical effort; up to 25 lb lifting; safe, clean work habits.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic bonding equipment and monitor machine performance.
• Adjust settings to maintain part quality and troubleshoot faults.
• Perform setup and setup validation checks; load parts and inspect first runs.
• Prepare production and scrap reports; log data in WINSPC; move material as required.
• Move parts to packing/shipping area; keep area clean and safe.
