Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• 3–5+ years experience as a binder operator.
• Ability to read work instructions and business memos.
• Strong math, measurement and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with all levels within the organization.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in stressful situations.
• Organized with minimal supervision and good time management.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Bind sheets into saddle-stitched booklets using automated bindery equipment.
• Cut, fold, trim, and finish products per job ticket.
• Read job tickets and specifications before starting work.
• Set up, operate and maintain bindery and finishing equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and proper housekeeping.
• Record production quantities and materials used on the job ticket.
• Support quality programs and report any issues as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
