Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate speed lathes, hone and CNC lathes, and assemble bearings into housings with fixtures.

You will perform trimming, deburring, load/unload, and quality checks while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Requires 0–3 years’ experience, a high school diploma or GED, and basic safety training. Eligible for a shift differential on D shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of factory experience.
• Safety, ESD, FOD and quality system awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate speed lathes performing trim and deburr with hand tools.
• Install bearings into housings using fixtures and dedicated tools.
• Operate hone machine to size inner diameter of parts.
• Load/unload CNC lathes and inspect sizes from machines.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety regulations.
• Perform prescribed preventive maintenance per PM charts.
• Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, swaging and bench ops as needed.
• Be familiar with basic machine functions and assist with setup.
