Responsibilities

• Assemble a wide variety of bearings using hand tools and hand assembly fixtures. Assembly procedures vary with type and size of bearings. Follow procedures for positioning cage, rollers, end caps, washers, and outer races.
• Grease parts prior to or after assembly, when required.
• Inspect assembled bearings for proper inner diameter and rotation.
• Operate hydraulic and small mechanical presses to assemble bushings and press in rings, seals, etc.
• Follow blueprints and written/verbal instructions.
• Record production and quality data in timely manner.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping rules and procedures.
