Job summary

RBC Bearings is seeking an assembler to hand assemble a wide variety of bearings using hand tools, fixtures and basic equipment. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will grease parts, operate presses, and inspect assemblies for proper fit, rotation, and dimensions. Daily data recording and preventive maintenance are also part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling bearings with hand tools and fixtures.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written instructions.
• Experience inspecting bearing assemblies and recording data.
• Adherence to safety rules and housekeeping procedures.
• Capable of basic preventive maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble bearings using hand tools and fixtures; position components per type and size.
• Grease parts as required and tag work when necessary.
• Operate hydraulic and mechanical presses to assemble bushings and seals.
• Use gauges to inspect diameters and verify rotation.
• Record production and quality data and maintain time records.
