Job summary

Basin Holdings in Easley, SC is hiring an Assembly Laborer to complete parts and racks by following engineering prints and first-piece guidance. You will assemble using fasteners, hand and power tools, and ensure quality from station to station while meeting 5S and safety standards.

Attention to detail, basic shop math, and the ability to read a tape measure are essential, as is readiness to assist line changes and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• No education required.
• Ability to perform simple shop math and convert decimals to fractions.
• Read a calibrated tape measure and interpret basic engineering notes.
• Exercise sound judgement with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Complete parts/racks by assembling to engineering prints and first pieces.
• Assemble parts/racks using fasteners, tools (manual and power) and other materials to complete engineering print and first piece.
• Ensure part/rack quality is maintained from station to station.
• Rack form, part fit if available is done before part/rack is removed from line.
• Assist with line change overs as needed.
• Assist other departments as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Clean to 5S standards daily and always maintain safety.
