Job summary

Aerotek in Irving, TX is seeking a Packaging Technician to handle batch orders, weigh materials, and package products. You will document orders and maintain records to ensure accurate batch production.

This contract-to-hire role runs on a 7 AM–4 PM schedule with climate-controlled surroundings and includes forklift and cherry picker experience as a plus. Two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch are provided.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in packaging or as a mixer batcher in a production or warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Experience with inventory management.
• Experience with general labor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process batch orders accurately.
• Weigh and package materials as per specifications.
• Document all orders and maintain accurate records.
• Operate equipment such as sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers.
• Repackage and break down bulk orders.
• Receive and ship products in smaller quantities to customers.
