Job summary

Horizon Tool Inc in North Carolina is seeking a Batch Maker I to join our production team. You will weigh, mix and verify raw materials to create finished products, ensuring they meet specifications and batch records are complete.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, strong math and computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to cGMP and ISO 22716 standards. Experience in manufacturing or liquid blending is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management abilities required.
• Experience in manufacturing or liquid blending in food/pharmaceutical env. a plus.
• Proficient in basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, check and verify materials for formulation.
• Handle raw materials and adjust vessels to produce pharmaceutical/personal care products; sample and record batches.
• Prepare and set up mixing equipment per procedures; load materials and control equipment.
• Produce product by mixing materials, monitor process and complete documentation.
• Maintain quality, safety, and clean working environment; support preventive maintenance.
• Clean equipment and prepare for subsequent batches.
• Perform monitoring and calibrations of mix/auxiliary equipment as needed.
