Gunwerks in Cody, Wyoming is seeking a Barrel Technician to follow documented instructions and operate CNC lathes and rifling equipment. You will also manage materials and tooling while ensuring high-quality standards.

You will read engineering drawings, work with ERP systems, and use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify tolerances. A clean, safe workspace and PPE are required to perform at pace. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience using ERP systems for manufacturing workflows.
• Experience with measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to documented work instructions for winding, turning, drilling, contouring and rifling.
• Operate CNC lathes, drilling, reaming, honing, and rifling machines.
• Manage material, tool, and consumable inventory.
• Perform quality inspections and report non-conforming items to leadership and QC.
• Utilize measuring equipment to ensure precision.
• Perform machine and tool maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and wear PPE.
• Be on your feet for the entire workday and lift up to 50 pounds.
