We are hiring a Band Saw Operator in our processing area on a full-time basis to work onsite in Sophia, NC. Responsibilities include operating a manual Band Saw, cutting steel to length per drawings, and maintaining a

Qualifications

• Knowledge of structural steel shapes and sizes
• Able to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch
• Experience operating an overhead crane
• Strong safety and quality focus
• Organized, dependable, detail-oriented

Responsabilités

• Operate manual Band Saw to cut steel to length
• Cut and process steel to job specs and drawings
• Measure and verify parts for accuracy
• Perform daily equipment maintenance (greasing/oiling)
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Work closely with the Shop Foreman and Plant Manager
