Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Horizontal Band Saw Operator for a contract-to-hire position on a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM). Pay is $25.00-$31.00/hour, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will cut and prepare raw materials with a horizontal band saw, support inventory control, labeling, and material handling, and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials meet

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2-3+ years in manufacturing/inventory environment.
Experience operating saw equipment and cutting raw materials.
Ability to use calipers and tape measures.
Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Cut and prepare raw materials to specifications using a horizontal band saw.
Maintain inventory accuracy, track materials, support lot traceability.
Pick, release, store, and organize materials for production with proper labeling.
Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and prepare production documentation.
Perform basic material inspections and assist with nonconforming material processes.
Operate a forklift to unload, transport, and store materials as needed.
Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to resolve inventory or material issues.
Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
