Job summary

THE SEWELL FAMILY OF COMPANIES INC is seeking a Baker for Press Cafe, a new bistro inside the Sewell-Lincoln Dealership at Parks Legado Town Center. The baker will prepare pastries and foods per standard recipes, portion meals, bake, and maintain a sanitized work area to ensure consistent quality.

Responsibilities include following recipes precisely, handling and rotating items safely, and supporting fellow team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and able to multitask.
• Food handler certified.
• TABC certified.
• Willingness to work weekends/evenings.
• Substantial knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
• Able to work in a team environment and take direction.
• Self-motivated and organized.

Responsibilities

• Complete all shift duties and closing duties.
• Handle, store and rotate items properly.
• Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods or as needed.
• Maintain a clean station and work area throughout day.
• Follow recipes exact instructions. Ensure quality, portion size, cooking time and consistency of every item that leaves your station.
• Be a team player. Support and assist your fellow team members.
