Hickory Chair, LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking an Aximat Operator to set up and run Aximat machinery for precise drilling, boring, and machining of furniture components. You will read work orders and drawings, load materials, install tooling, and verify programs to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities include monitoring production, inspecting parts with calipers and gauges, making minor adjustments, maintaining records, and keeping the work area clean.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Aximat equipment or CNC machinery.
• Experience in woodworking/furniture manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read production drawings and work orders.
• Ability to use measuring and inspection tools.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate Aximat machinery per specs.
• Review work orders, drawings, and machine instructions.
• Load, position, and secure materials into the machine.
• Install tooling and adjust machine settings.
• Enter and verify machine programs; maintain accuracy.
• Operate and monitor production process.
• Inspect components for dimensions and quality.
• Use calipers and gauges for inspection.
• Identify worn tooling and notify supervisor.
• Maintain production and quality records.
• Keep area clean and safe; follow procedures.
• Communicate issues to supervisor promptly.
• Assist with material handling as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
