Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to inspect, test, adjust, and repair avionics systems in aircraft, including radar, radio, navigation, and autopilot components. This contracting role requires precision, strong diagnostics, and adherence to maintenance regulations.

Based in Atlanta, GA, you will work in a hangar setting with a Monday–Friday schedule, occasional overtime, and a pay range of $28–$40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting, testing, and repairing avionics equipment.
• Ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital meters.
• Familiarity with FAR maintenance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect avionics components for defects and proper connections.
• Test equipment performance under simulated and actual flight conditions.
• Calibrate and adjust installed avionics to specifications.
• Fabricate wiring harnesses as needed.
• Ensure compliance with 91.411 and 91.413 inspections.
• Participate in in-flight adjustments with flight crew.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
